Seefeel - Seefeel (Warp, LP, 2011)
Got my copy in the mail today so the jury’s still out, but liking how slippery & faded everything is. This stuff isn’t humid, gauzy, and opaque — there’s a surgical precision to the little shards of pop and detritus that poke out every once and a while just so you remember the point. Really, this is proof of another great band that earns their victory lap because they can (thankfully) still prove exactly why they mattered in the first place.
